Choose to attend one, two, three days or all week. Cost: $40 per day or $150 for the whole week.
During this week, campers will learn all about what it was like to grow up on a New England Farm in the 18oo's!
Monday, campers will take a farm tour, learn all about caring and grooming for farm animals,
farm chores and make their own farm journals.
Tuesday, campers will learn all about being an 18th century kid in school!
Campers will learn about a one room schoolhouse, make copy books, write on slates,
and learn to write with and make their own quill pens.
Wednesday, campers will learn about lending a hand at the farm house,
with morning chores, cooking and baking on a hearth, making butter, sausage and candle making.
Thursday is all about fun for campers! Children will enjoy a winter wonderland outside
with sledding, snowshoeing, snow sculptures and forts. Then it’s on to playing with and
making historic toys and games and popping popcorn on the hearth or cook stove the old fashioned way.
Friday, campers will help prepare a noon day shared feast and celebrate the last day of camp with their parents!
Remick Museum and Farm camps are all about providing children with an opportunity
to learn about farm life and enjoy the outdoors. If you would like to sign your child
up for camp, please call (603) 323-7591, toll free (800) 686-6117.
Children should come prepared for outdoor activity and indoor craft making.
